The Company

MedInGalil, which is owned by Freddie and Eddie Zinger and the Galilee Development Corporation, was established in October 2010. The company invests in projects, ventures and companies in the field of medical devices, which are interested in operating in the Galilee region.

MedInGalil intends to exploit the advantages of the north: a quality workforce, qualified contractors and generous government funding to become a thriving and profitable investment company and to enrich the Galilee with sophisticated global industry.

Investment Policy

MedInGalil intends to invest in promising ventures in the field of medical devices. Ventures that are in the early stages of development will be handled for a year as projects, not as companies by Migal - Galilee Technology Center. During this period, Migal's development team together with appropriate advisers will strive to reach POC (Proof of Concept) in a short time and with minimal cost.

Projects that will achieve Proof of Concept status, will receive continued investment from MedInGalil, shareholders and other sources. Other ventures and start-up companies that are located in the Galilee and are in advanced stages of development will receive operational help - according to their individual needs.

Investment in projects will be in many cases, but not always, combined with grants from the Chief Scientist of Industry. The intention is to take advantage of various grant tracks, of Migal's status with the Chief Scientist, and its location in Kiryat Shemona (a confrontation line city).
